Recovery Day Ottawa

OTTAWA CITY HALL - SEPT | 23 | 2017 - HÔTEL DE VILLE

Join with us for the official Recovery Day Ottawa celebration in the National Capital at Ottawa City Hall, on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

During the month of September, Canadians are gathering to build awareness, challenge societal stigma, and celebrate the role that recovery plays in improving the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

We envision a world in which recovery from addiction is a common, celebrated reality - a world where all individuals will have access to the support they need when seeking help.

We believe by speaking out as people living in recovery, or as family, friends and supporters of those affected by addiction, we save lives.

Through our personal stories and shared experience, we hope to inspire others to join us. Together, we demonstrate the power and proof of recovery from addiction.

Serenity Renewal for Families

Dedicated to serving, with respect and compassion, individuals, couples, youth and families who are directly or indirectly affected by chemical dependency or the addictive process

Serenity Renewal for Families (SRF) provides education and counselling services to individuals, directly or indirectly, affected by addictions or mental health issue. We are a registered charitable organization, founded in 1983, by Sister Louise Dunn, CND, and Alexa Smith to serve family members of individuals affected by addictions and addictive behaviours. At the time, SRF was one of the first to recognize the need and deliver services in the Champlain region. Today we offer programs and services to wide spectrum of clients, as young as 5 to 85 and over.
